It's the plus factor (Press Release)

What does a resourceful PRO do when he has nothing to say? He starts writing press releases anyway! This week, instead of writing of the thrilling exploits of myself Thurrock Plus, I decided to pen a little piece about the new national website. NB: It's the Plus factor was the headline chosen by the Thurrock Gazette - I just titled our press release New Website for Plus.

It's The Plus Factor

PLUS, the social organisation for 18 to 35 year olds, is moving well and truly into the techno-age with a brand-new national website. This new website will be an innovation as it is designed to be interactive, and to be especially suited for new members wishing to know more about the organisation.

The website is created by top IT expert Richard Morton, who explained it thus:

"The website will be continually updated with details of PLUS events. It will allow users to enter their post-code, and immediately be informed of PLUS events happening in their locality. It will also feature a lot of user-generated content, including reviews and discussion forums."

The url for the new website is www.plusgroups.org.uk. Visitors will be put in touch with local PLUS groups not just in the Thurrock area, but also nationally.

Thurrock Plus is a social, sporting and leisure group for young adults aged 18 to 35. It meets every Thursday at the Ship, Dock Road, Grays, from 9pm, as well as organising weekend events.
